“When I took the oath of governance as the democratically elected Governor of Imo, i promised to protect the interests of Imolites, defend her territories against terrorism, defend her unity and uphold her honour and glory. That i must accomplish irrespective of whose ox is gored.

“Those who vowed to make Imo State ungovernable should be ready for us. We don’t speak because others are speaking, we speak because we have what to say and how to get it done.

“You cannot expect a man whose house is on fire to fold his hands and watch fire engulfed his entire building. Those who set Imo State on fire should not run, let them stay close and watch what is about to befall them because that fire they put on will burn them into ashes.

“Since i restored back my stolen mandate, enemies of the State in collaboration with IPOB and other criminal elements have vowed to destroy the State. Ranging from the opposition party in the State, the PDP, Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB, ESN, Radio Biafra, Bandits, Unknown gunmen, Kidnappers and other criminal gangs in the State are all geared towards terrorizing Imo State into destruction.

“Now that you are fully in the State, i want you to curb all their hideouts, fish them out including their informants so that they can face the full wrath of the law. Nobody is above the law, anyone you sensed to be among these criminal elements, ensure you bring down their strongholds and crushed them. Peace shall return back to Imo State in the fullest of time. Imo is the Eastern Heartland and nobody can destroy it.

“My sincere gratitude goes to President Muhammadu Buhari who always answer my calls whenever i need his assistance. He made this possible and I am highly grateful to him for coming to our aid in a time like this. Imo shall rise again. I welcome you all to Imo State and urge you to expedite action immediately.”
