The incident happened yesterday, 23rd March, at LEA Primary School, Tudun Wada Jos.
The primary 5 teacher noticed that his student’s text books were incomplete. After finding out why, he discovered the student (Obinna) was given money to buy them but he didn’t. Though the student lied to have given the money to his class teacher Mr. Sylvanus Bitrus.
While the student was being flogged, Obinna jumped off through the class window and ran away.
According to our source; moments later, he came back with his father Mr. Ikechukwu, who on arrival, headed straight to the class room (what transpired at his arrival wasn’t stated) it was further added that the parent began throwing stones on the class teacher, and also bite him on the ear during the clash, this resulted to the several injuries Mr. Sylvanus sustained.
Thereafter, the headmistress and PTA chairman were both contacted and the case has been reported to the Tudun Wada Police station for settlement.
