The Ebonyi State Governor and Chairman South-East Governors’ Forum, David Umahi, has told eligible voters in the state not to vote for the Labour Party in the forthcoming general election.
The governor stated this during the inauguration of five new Commissioners and other aides on Monday in Abakaliki, the state capital. The directive is coming one week after the All Progressives Congress presidential primary election.
Umahi, who urged Ebonyi people to only vote for the APC, said, “the votes of the state only belong to the ruling APC.”
We will not vote for Labour Party. We will only vote for APC. Our votes are for APC and not for Labour Party. Our agenda is Ebonyi agenda.
